I recently did a shoot with C.C. Cosplay (facebook.com/cosplaycaptain) that I fondly call Hats & Hookahs. Miss C.C. approached me around new years and suggested this idea to me and I’m so happy that we were finally able to carry out her vision. I really love how these photos came out. Hello everyone!
So I downloaded the Lightroom 5 Beta last night and have been having a bunch of fun playing around with it! I’d have to say my favorite things about the beta are the new retouch brush and the radial filter tool! I wanted to share a bit of what I’ve been up to with y’all so here we go:
First we have a new edit of a photo of CAJCosplay from Anime Matsuri Convention done in the Lightroom 5 Beta.
Second we have the original photo and the reedit done in LR5.
Third we have the original edit done in LR3 and the new edit done in LR5. This was a photo I really struggled with when I originally edited it and I’m so happy with how the LR5 edit came out! I know what I’m going to ask for for my birthday now. :D

So it’s a little late but here’s this week’s Throwback Thursday photo. This photo is of Dedlocke Fyre Cosplay from Anime Fest 2010. Not only does Ms. Fyre look amazing, I really love the way I reedited this photo (ie I use Throwback Thursday as an opportunity to re-edit old photos that I love or edited badly in the past). Had a wonderful weekend! A friend of mine payed me a surprise visit and we went out to take photos and break in her new camera. Good times. I know I said no more sunsets… but there are more sunsets. Haha.
