Finished the Graffiti Park photos! That was fast. ^_^ I’ll upload them over the next few days. Thanks to Katherine Wenske for shooting with me and to Anne Gagnon for coming along and making sure I didn’t fall or get tetanus on this shoot. ♥ I can’t wait to go back to this location in the future. As soon as I left I was thinking of more shots I wanted to get.
So here’s what I did this weekend. Beauty and I had previously talked about doing a shoot with hookahs and hats and this is kinda of what happened. ^_^ It was quite a bit of fun and has me plotting for a fog machine. More to come soon. Enjoy.

So I downloaded the Lightroom 5 Beta last night and have been having a bunch of fun playing around with it! I’d have to say my favorite things about the beta are the new retouch brush and the radial filter tool! I wanted to share a bit of what I’ve been up to with y’all so here we go:
Second we have the original photo and the reedit done in LR5.
Third we have the original edit done in LR3 and the new edit done in LR5. This was a photo I really struggled with when I originally edited it and I’m so happy with how the LR5 edit came out! I know what I’m going to ask for for my birthday now. :D

Here are just a few of my photos from All-Con 2013 (some of them especially for you tumblr peeps - don’t tell the FB peeps - it’s all very hush hush). I’ll post more later, I’m sure, but if you’d like to see what I already published (or see the cosplayer credits for these photos!!) please check out the gallery on my FB page - https://www.facebook.com/Amanda.L.PetersonPhotography
So it’s a little late but here’s this week’s Throwback Thursday photo. This photo is of Dedlocke Fyre Cosplay from Anime Fest 2010. Not only does Ms. Fyre look amazing, I really love the way I reedited this photo (ie I use Throwback Thursday as an opportunity to re-edit old photos that I love or edited badly in the past). Anyhow, enjoy!
I always forget about you Tumblr peeps. Sorry!! So here’s something just for you. These are two photos I took back in…. 2008? I tracked down the originals and re-edited them both to my liking. Lately I’ve been doing “throwback thursdays” on my facebook page and I’ve really enjoyed revisiting some old photos that I had no idea how to edit back in the day but I can now edit to my heart’s content. So here are two photos of Ms. Rachel’s Naruto cosplay.
Ok peeps! My giveaway ends in a few hours. If you were ever going to enter, there’s no time like the present! I imagine I’ll announce the winner tonight after the contest closes. Good luck!
Had a wonderful weekend! A friend of mine payed me a surprise visit and we went out to take photos and break in her new camera. Good times. I know I said no more sunsets… but there are more sunsets. Haha.
Hey y’all I just wanted to post this again for those that didn’t see it the first time. I have a facebook giveaway going on. So if you’re interested, scuttle over to my photography page and check it out. https://www.facebook.com/Amanda.L.PetersonPhotography
Home from my lovely trip to Austin. Photoshoot did not happen due to me busting the crap out of my knee on Saturday night. :/ But I did run outside this evening and take some pictures of the sunset because darn it the sky was doing some amazing things.
